Location: Bude Date : Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 July 2026 SLS Cornwall Open Championships Age Group - 16 years + (born 2010 and earlier) The following events will be contested at this year's Championship Individual Events Male/female 2km run, Sprint, Board, Flags, Ski, Surf Race, Ocean Man/Woman Team Events Board relay Ski relay Taplin relay Beach relay - 2 men's team per club/2 female team per club per category Board rescue - Maximum 2 pairs per category Tube Rescue - Maximum 1 pairs per category Double Ski - Maximum 3 pairs per category Swim Team - Maximum 1 per category per club Entry Fee: £26.50 Closing date: Friday 19 June @ 18:00

Cornish Nipper Surf Championships 2026. Location: Carlyon Bay Date: Saturday 18 July & Sunday 19 July 2025 Age Groups: Minimum age for this event is 7yrs of age as at 31st December last year, details as follows: 8yrs: aged 7 on 31st December last year and will attain the age of 8 this year. 9yrs: aged 8 on 31st December last year and will attain the age of 9 this year. 10yrs: aged 9 on 31st December last year and will attain the age of 10 this year. 11yrs: aged 10 on 31st December last year and will attain the age of 11 this year. 12yrs: aged 11 on 31st December last year and will attain the age of 12 this year. 13yrs: aged 12 on 31st December last year and will attain the age of 13 this year. Entry Fee: £26.50 Closing Date: Sunday 28 June 2026 @ 18:00 The provisional following events will be contested at this year's Nipper Championship: Individual Events 8yrs male/female 500m Run, Flags, Sprint, Board, Surf Race 9yrs male/female 500m Run, Flags, Sprint, Board, Surf Race 10yrs male/female 1km Run, Flags, Sprint, Board, Surf Race 11yrs male/female 1km Run, Flags, Sprint, Board, Surf Race 12yrs male/female 1km Run, Flags, Sprint, Board, Surf Race, Golden Nipper 13yrs male/female 1km Run, Flags, Sprint, Board, Surf Race, Golden Nipper Team Events Teams of 4 (2 teams per club) • 8,9yrs male/female – beach relay • 10,11yrs male/female – beach relay • 12,13yrs male/female – beach relay Teams of 3 • 8,9yrs male/female – board relay • 10,11yrs male/female – board relay • 12,13yrs male/female – board relay • 8,9yrs male/female – surf relay • 10,11yrs male/female – surf relay • 12,13yrs male/female – surf relay For the Team events, these will be selected and notified by the coaches and team managers ahead of the competition

Cornish Masters Surf Championships 2026. Rock up and Race 11th Sept

Gyllyngvase SLSC are delighted to introduce the 'Rock up and Race' series for 2026 "Rock up and Race" events are held every 2 weeks on Friday nights from Gyllyngvase Beach, the last one of the season is on Friday 11th Sept 26. The races will be held over the same course each time and you can choose your race either 1 Lap at approx 3 km or 2 laps at approx 6km or 3 laps at aprox 9km "Rock up and Race" will provide racing for the following craft: 1) Ocean Ski 2) Spec Ski 3) SUP Board 4) Prone Board/Lifesaving Board 5) Outrigger Registration opens on beach - 18.00 Compulsory briefing time - 18.50 Start time - 19.00 "Rock up and Race" entry requirements are: 1) Minimum age 13 (as at 31 December 2026) 2) Must be a member of SLSGB 3) Must have a PFD (Ocean & Spec Ski), whistle & leash Entry Fee of £5 per race. £6 if card payment on the night. Your first entry must be made online by 20.00 on the Thursday prior to your first race, so SLSGB membership can be checked, after that, its ‘Rock up & Race’, just bring your £5 in cash or we hope to have a card machine this year but it will be £6
Gyllyngvase SLSC Endless Summer Swim 2026

The Endless Summer Swim is coming to Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth on Saturday 26th September 2026. There are a number of different distances and age-groups available in what is one of Cornwall's highest rated swim events. Age Group Event, Distance and Start Times. (age categories are based on your age as at 31 December 2026) Open 18 to 29, Masters 30 to 49 & Masters 50+ 1500m - 10:00 Open 18 to 29, Masters 30 to 49 & Masters 50+ 800m - 11:00 Youth aged 14 to 17 800m - 11:15 Nippers aged 12 & 13 800m - 11:30 Nippers aged 10 & 11 600m - 12:00 Nippers aged 8 & 9 300m - 12:30 All pre-entries are guaranteed an Endless Summer Swim designed T-Shirt (select required size at checkout) and for only £20 entry fee it remains exceptional value for money. You must enter by Sunday 6th September at midnight to guarantee T-shirt - please select sizes on checkout. Online entries close Thursday 24th September at midnight but entries on the day are accepted on the day up to 45 minutes prior to race start, (There will be NO T Shirts available if not pre ordered before the 6th Sept).
